“An Eye for Beauty” — 300 Years of Jewellery Curated by Esteemed Collector

Enjoy a rare glimpse into the world of an eminent collector in Hong Kong, unveiled to the public for the very first time.

Continuing the “Through the Eyes of a Connoisseur” series dedicated to the art of collecting, emphasising on dialogues between cultures and their criteria of beauty, L’ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts presents “An Eye for Beauty, the Illuminata Jewelry Collection”, a new exhibition spotlighting a curation of 50 artefacts from an esteemed private collection.

Spanning 300 years of Western and Chinese art, the collection celebrates the diverse craftsmanship of Ming furniture, Qing court jewellery, and European jewellery from the Baroque, Victorian Belle Époque, and Edwardian eras. These masterpieces reflect the personal journey of a collector with an eye for beauty across times and cultures.
