Kaneko Optical was founded in Fukui prefecture, one of the largest eyewear manufacturing area in the world, in 1958.
Since then we have evolved into the planning, design, and sales of our own brands, and are now a recognized trend leader in the Japanese eyewear industry.
In 2006, to perpetuate and expand the artisanal manufacturing tradition, we opened our own manufacturing factories with over a hundred in-house craftsman.
Since then, we have been creating high quality hand-made eyewear and also delivering to our customers at our over 80 directly-managed stores in Japan, Paris and Shanghai.
That is how we made ourself as the one of a kind eyewear brand who has both craftsman’s spirit and pride as a specialist of the customer service.
