L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts supported by Van Cleef & Arpels, presents “Discover the Diamond: Art & Science”, a meticulously curated programme at its Hong Kong campus in K11 MUSEA.  Rediscover diamond, an iconic mineral, from rough stones to brilliant cuts, and trace the many journeys of the remarkable diamond evolution through immersive experiences. Explore both the history and science behind the dazzling gemstone and unveil the untold stories of diamond through a variety of engaging activities at L’ÉCOLE.

The diamond presentation and programs will officially launch in November, featuring a new course titled The Lesotho Legend: from a Rough Diamond to a High Jewelry Collection, along with two refreshed diamond-themed workshops designed to young participants a creative and engaging experience. In-depth talks by industry experts will cover topics including “Jean-Baptiste Tavernier: Rediscovered Treasures” and “Fascinating Diamonds”. The celebration continues with exclusive cultural walks to historic Diamond Hill guided by Dr. Sampson Wong, Author of “Hong Kong Stollology”, and two Exploration Days of Diamond on Saturdays 31 January and 28 February 2026.

Yukimasa Ida — A Once-in-a-Lifetime Encounter
Step into the world of Yukimasa Ida, one of Japan's most celebrated contemporary artists, highly sought after by global collectors and cultural icons including Jay Chou, Leonardo DiCaprio, Yusaku Maezawa, and T.O.P. Curated with Villepin, this exhibition unveils first to Hong Kong art pieces inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Ichigo Ichie (一期一會) — "a once-in-a-lifetime encounter." Through explosive brushstrokes and layered abstraction, Ida transforms fleeting moments into powerful visual narratives that bridge memory, emotion, and time.

Jazzing Cinema: "Chungking Express" — Rewriting Wong Kar Wai's Cinematic Romance Through Live Jazz
Creative studio Gentle Pause and Fountain de Chopin, a Hong Kong jazz collective, join hands to curate a poetic cultural collaboration inspired by Wong Kar Wai's iconic film Chungking Express. Part of their cinematic-meets-live-jazz series, Jazzing Cinema, the experience reimagines the film's dreamlike urban romance through live jazz reinterpretations. This experience invites you to slow down and feel deeply the magic of fleeting encounters.
